Beth's Family

My session this morning with Beth's youngest was rescheduled to sometime later this week. He is turning one, but these were taken when he was nine months, along with the rest of his family.

She was giving me her best "modeling" poses...

Capri - Senior 2012

Capri's shoot was a lot of fun and easy for me. She was a little nervous at first, but very quickly bacame comfortable and trhowing out lots of ideas. I can tell she and her mom really thought about what they wanted to get out of her session and they were prepared wih great clothes and even her dogs!

Melissa's family

Melissa wanted to give her parents portraits of their large family (all 29 of them!) for Christmas. I actually have a lot of people do this a a gift to parents or purchase gift certificates to use the following spring or summer when the weather is warmer.
Well, we had a nice warm day all picked out, but then one of the kids got sick. We ended up taking these in late November on a cold, drizzling day. But I am very happy with how they turned out and I love the grey and purples they wore and how the colors complimented the orange and faded yellows of the nature in the park at that time of year.

Mr. & Mrs Brown

On a very chilly day in November, I was able to shoot the wedding of Justin and Pam. I had so much fun with them, their familes, and their friends. They are definitely surrounded by love from all sides! They were mairred at a small church south of Owatonna and their country wedding had sweet and perfect decor that fit their farming lifestyle.

Pam really wanted photos in front of the red barn across the street from the church. It was a great backdrop, complete with chickens in a few of the photos! .

Keeping with tradition, there were serendade first by Pam's sorority, then Justin's fraternity. I have photographed other weddings of people in these groups, and it is always one of the highlights of the weddings, seeing the sisterhood and brotherhood carried on through song.
