Super gorgeous senior with the prettiest brown eyes. It was pretty windy the day we took these, but the wind worked in our favor, I think.

Lori's Family

I have known this family for over a decade now, but this was my first chance to photograph them. Their daughters had been in the Montessori program with my boys for many years. I even have video of Tye and their middle daughter standing together at about 3 years old, singing for the Christmas program (I can't believe they are both in junior high now). They came out to my place on one of those perfectly frosty days we had back in December for a quick family shoot.

The Thompsons

For my annual photo shoot with the Thompsons, we ended up with one of the most beautiful, foggy, frosty,and downright frigid mornings. My friend, Melanie, let us use her rows of pines for a backdrop. And the frost made the pines so beautiful.

Jenni, who is a graphic designer, always comes up with the best color combos for her family. She told me it was all last minute, but they always look so good together.

Since we would be so close to the pines, I had them bring some ornaments for hanging.

I love the promise of a treat at the end of a shoot. I knew these candy cane twist would look cool for photos, and they came from the dollar store.

The French Family

This was one of the sweetest families I got to meet in 2012. They were awesome to work with and are already on my schedule for next fall!
