Hunger Games Inspired Shoot - Part 1
After seeing the Hunger Games movie and reading some of the books, I knew I wanted to do an inspired photoshoot. Fortunately, my husband John is into archery along with my kids, so we had acces to bows, arrows, and quivers. Ghosts
I had been wanting to try something like this for a while when we ateempted these back in October. I saw another photographer's haunted house image series and have been mulling around in my mind exactly how I might pull off something similar. I really didn't want the kids to know how they would look as ghosts, so I just asked them to show up at the cemetery (we were very respectful) in just a black shirt and jeans.
We used the photos on some invites for their Halloween Birthday Bash and printed some to use as decor for the party.

Owatonna Country Club Mock Wedding
The Owatonna Country Club held their first mock wedding in February. It gave perspective engaged couples a chance to see what their own wedding might look like at the club.
The decor was stunning. I tried to capture a lot of the details.

The food is always very good at the club, thanks to their great chef.
The "Bride & Groom"
The manager of the club, Bob, was more than happy to dance with is beautiful daughter, who was part of the "wedding party".
