J&M

These two girls were so fun to work with. They were really cooperative.
We tried out a couple of new locations, and the girls rocked them out!

What is really funny, is that while I was shooting them I didn't notice how very similar they look to how 2 of my younger sisters looked at the same age. As soon as I pulled them up for editing I noticed it. Anyone who knew them as little girls will agree with me, I'm sure.

My little Brother is getting Married

in 2 weeks!
I went down to a small town in Iowa for her bridal shower a couple of weeks ago. We did an engagement session in the downtown area, which consisted of about 2 blocks. Very small town, but it was still a great location!

I love this shot.

He looks so much like our dad here I think. I love her eyes here too.

A shot I've been thinking of for a long time...

I love this one of them giggling...

We got our own Joe Mauer (x2)

Last weekend we went to the Twins game again. The boys waited in line to get signatures from some of the pitchers.
Here is Tye with Matt Garza:

Here is Boof Bonser asking Bodie if it takes a long time to make the mohawk he is sporting. Boof seemed to think it was pretty cool:

And in this second picture, please notice Bodie is holding his new Joe Mauer doll (he got both pitchers to sign it for him). They gave them way to kids at the game, so both boys got one. I think both were a little worried they might lose them to Aunt Rainey, who needs something to cuddle with at night, hahaha:)
Also, the Twins won again. We are 6-0 for wins in the games we have attended. They win every time. Just imagine how great they would do if we could afford season tickets!

B&K

I love, love, love how these turned out. I think I'm in love with the juicy summer colors in these. Both girls were very easy to photograph and were adorable. Their mom picked up the pictures tonight, and I can't wait to hear what she thinks of them!

Pike Family

This lovely family was a referral from another shoot I did back in June. I'm getting a lot of referrals. It's really flattering!
I think these were really special, because the oldest boy lives with his dad several states away. The mom really wanted to include him in the shots and also get some nice individual shots of him, too. I hope she is pleased with the end results. The whole family was really easy to work with!

Though they were trying their best to drive each other nuts, this one turned out cute...

I love this one of the little guy...

I love the backlighting...

Guess how old he is...
