I love the days when they are just playing and being themselves. These are the days and the images in my mind I will remember when I'm old and they are grown.

Thanksgiving '08

Ok, I'm a little behind on my posting. But I wanted to get these up so my aunts can see them. Bot of my brothers and my sister-in-law were here for Thanksgiving. We had a great time with them!

Here is my little brother, Eric. He a sweet, caring guy who wears his heart on his sleeve. He showed off some of his skateboard moves...

He cleans up pretty well, too.

We met our Grandma & Grandpa Rausch for lunch and snapped a quick photo of us.

Afterwards, I did a mini photoshoot of my brother Gene & his wife Lara at the Plummer house in Rochester. I'm so glad they came up from Chicago and hope they can come visit again soon!

I love the major air they got in this one!

We shot these out at his grandparents farm. It was a great location to my suprise. So many great textures and backgrounds. Alot of people were surpised when they found out where we shot them. They all thought it was many differnt locations. Cody was also a great subject. He had great ideas for his photos!

Beth's Family

Beth has a beautiful family. Her kids were really great to work with. I have never gotten so many great shots in one session. It was hard to narrow it down at all and she still ended up with double the amount of photos I normally have in a session.

Her youngest reminded me so much of my youngest. He gave me a hard time, but was so adorable about it.

Finally!

I am finally done editing for 2008! I have had a great year. I love taking photos so much, and I'm so blessed to be able to do something I love and make people happy at the same time! I was feeling a bit overwhelmed though. I have such a hard time saying no, even when I'm overbooked. This last month and a half I was so busy editing, and it has been a little hard on my family. I end up spending so much time on the computer, and so many things fall to the wayside.
Now I have time to get everything back in order. Today I think we are going to actually get the tree decorated and make some cookies.
Here are some shots from my session with Brenda and her family this fall. This was one of the quickest sessions I've had with kids, but it was because the shots came so easily. The kids had their game on and I think they had fun. We also got some great lighting downtown!
